Hallucinations
Walking down a cobbled street, alone with a cigarette in hand.
The cold wind brushing my sides, thinking of you I’m left in gloom.
I stop short, pause for a moment in contemplation I look behind,
I saw you there under the street light, your arms open wide.
I smiled, walked two steps to you and you vanished into the dark,
Dumbfounded I stood alone in the darkness of the streetlight.
I think a tear flowed down my cheek, but felt your hand wipe it away,
I looked up and I pressed my lips against yours, nothing but a cold win
